"Beginner-friendly" gets used loosely in ski marketing. Every resort claims a bunny slope. We rank Tahoe's mountains by our own 1–5 beginner-friendliness heuristic (the same field powering our comparison tool), then break the tie with how much of each mountain's terrain is actually rated beginner. Here's the ranked list, in order.
